Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Review loan application packages and evaluate borrower's financial
obligations
Analyze loan terms, credit quality, and ensure compliance with
guidelines
Make loan decisions and communicate outcomes to the processor and
loan officer
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of Residential Mortgage Underwriting
experience
College degree preferred but not required
Strong understanding of secondary market guidelines
(FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA)
Effective analytical and mathematical skills
Knowledge of mortgage insurance and regulatory compliance
