Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative
to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payments on
outstanding claims
Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and root
causes of payment delays
Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure all accounts are set
up correctly in the system
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
2+ years of working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
2+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
Knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic
Anatomy
