Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inquiries, appeals, and balance billing for members,
clients, and providers
Review and negotiate balance bills and appeals with providers
Document claim resolution events and ensure compliance with HIPAA
regulations
Required Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma; BA/BS preferred
Two or more years of experience in a medical healthcare claims
role
Background in healthcare claims management, including provider
hospital billing
State licensure certification may be required
Negotiation experience is a plus
