We are looking for a Helpdesk Administrator with ambition and a passion to grow into higher levels of technical support in I.T. A typical day in the life of a Helpdesk Administrator with Global IT (TM) could look like connecting with Client users to resolve basic desktop issues ranging from email and printers to software and hardware. Our Technical Administrators are supercharged and trained to handle desktop support and some Level 1 issues. This role requires the ability to research thoroughly and troubleshoot issues properly before escalating to a senior technician. In this role, you may also find yourself dispatched to work on-site at client locations (traveling by company vehicle) and partner with Senior Technicians and Engineers to complete tasks and address emergency/urgent issues. Job Requirements:

  • Heavy phone support (Incoming/Outgoing) -
  • Management of a Shared Email Inbox -
  • Trouble ticket creation to include details of user experience
  • Opening trouble tickets with vendors
  • Review open tickets and perform follow-up with clients (Email/Phone)
  • Scheduling calendar events (and sending invites) -
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Troubleshooting and recreating client issues
  • Basic troubleshooting and desktop support
  • Provide assistance and support for reported issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Train computer users in basic computer skills and IT processes
  • Manage user security in Active Directory
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software using standard hardware, images, and software
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem -
  • Walk customers through problem-solving
  • Escalate unresolved tickets to senior technical personnel
  • This position is an in-office position
  • All other duties as necessary
