Job Description:
Job Description Position Summary Inspect castings (parts)
visually to identify defects that might be cause of rejection or
scrap based on Specs/Techniques directions and requirements.
Verifies designated I.D. given to the castings for traceability,
also verifies the quantity of castings is correct according to the
casting---s card router. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The
essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform visual Inspection/examination of castings using white
light, mirror and other necessary tools. Responsible to accept and
reject castings accordingly to Visual Technique requirements.
Responsible to record information about the casting---s acceptable
condition or rejection to proceed through the process. Responsible
to verify essential information on the castings and card routers
such as serial numbers, I.D. and quantity. Perform basic math
equations Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum experience preferred but not required. Speak, read and
spell English preferred. Basic computer skills Ability to work
independently and as a team. Ability to communicate effectively
with others. Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to organize and perform multiple task. Able to pay
attention to details. Ability to work in a fast paced and under
pressure. Able to work with tools provided (gauges, air guns,
vibropeens etc.) Basic math skills Physical Demands and Work
Environment The physical demands described here are representative
of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform
the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations

functions. While performing duties of the job, the employee is
required to: Sit or stand for long periods of time while performing
the job. Extend with both arms to reach and perform functions of
this job. Perform some repetitive motions Regularly lift up to 35
lbs. Push/pull buggies or carts with castings on it. Specific
Vision ability abilities required by this job includes near vision
20/20 or 20/25 Expose to mid to high temperatures and cold
temperatures as well. Exposed to high levels of noise Prescribed
safety equipment must be worn at all times Note This job

2- 1st Shift positions. Hours are from 7:00am-3:30pm Overtime work
if needed. Weekends depending on department demands.
