  • The Procurement Administrator will provide procurement administrative and technical support for our 200 active donor and corporate cost centers.
  • This role will be trained to perform buyers' activities to support donor centers.-- Responsible for the ordering and expediting of assigned commodities for plasma centers and headquarters.
  • Will follow-up and provide support to centers to ensure timely confirmations in the SRM/DMS system needed for invoice payments and to support the SOX requirement of entering Goods Receipt within 15 days of product delivery.
  • Will reconcile the softgood inventory system discrepancies for locations and work with centers to resolve any softgood inventory discrepancies.
  • Interface with AP to reconcile invoice statements and to provide purchasing staff support with addressing/resolving invoice discrepancies in Vendor Invoice Management system.
  • Provide analytical support to the department by running spend reports, analyzing receipt data, and other reports as required.
  • Administrator will be trained to issue POs and also follow-up with centers for Goods receipt completion.
  • Other projects/tasks will be assigned as needed.Skills:------
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Possesses basic understanding of procurement principles, including bid analysis, cost savings and payment terms.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Exhibits professional demeanor in dealing with internal and external customers of various levels of an organization.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt and appropriately prioritize in changing environment.
    • Possess sound problem-solving skills.
    • Must be able to resolve administrative problems independently and ensure that deadlines are met.
    • Knowledge of SAP system or other ERP system preferred
    • Detail-oriented team player with proven negotiating abilities and outstanding problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • 10-key proficient
    • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, WordEducation:------------------
      • BA/BS preferred or 5 years of Purchasing experience
