Volt Workforce Solutions is Immediately hiring an Inventory Clerk
II in Oceanside, Ca. As an Inventory Clerk you will: Employs
standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory
management efficiency. Ensure inventory is accurate in the areas of
RTE, Raw, and Finished Goods by performing daily cycle counts and
corrections. Perform quarterly inventory audits and assist with the
Year-End Inventory Audit. Facilitate communication involving any
inventory discrepancies or other concerns with the appropriate team
members. Foster effective working relationships with production,
material handlers, planning & design, purchasing, warehouse
management, accounting, and quality assurance Investigate inventory
discrepancies and make corrections as needed Assist with analysis
of inventory-related transactions such as (but not limited to)
process order yields, delivery notes, material usage, Bill of
Material quantities, and Weeks of Supply Collaborates with
cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize
initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best
inventory management practices. Conduct cycle counts as needed.
Investigate all and any high variances in Work orders and cycle
counts. Help maintain all inventory accuracy on the floor and 1322.
Responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels,
identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize
inventory management Inventory Management, Forecasting, Analysis,
Reconciling, Accuracy, Inventory Control, and Cycle Counting This
is a fulltime position The ideal candidate will have: Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: 2 years in a
manufacturing environment 2 years in inventory control
Availability: Open schedule, able to work 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Core
Competencies Inventory Control Methods: Proficient in FIFO, LIFO,
and cycle counting practices Audit & Reconciliation: Experienced
with quarterly and year-end audit procedures Materials & Production
Knowledge: Understanding of raw materials, RTE (Ready-to-Eat),
finished goods, and manufacturing workflows Bill of Materials
(BOM): Knowledge of BOM structure and its impact on inventory
Regulatory & Quality Standards: Familiar with compliance, safety,
and quality assurance protocols Attention to Detail: Accurate in
data entry, recordkeeping, and identifying variances Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective
collaboration with production, accounting, QA, and other teams
Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate and resolve inventory
discrepancies and process variances Time Management: Skilled in
prioritizing tasks such as cycle counts, audits, and reporting
deadlines Physical Inventory: Capable of conducting physical
inventory counts and reconciling with system records
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various
departments to resolve issues and enhance processes Flexibility:
Adaptable to shifting priorities, urgent inventory concerns, and
production changes Documentation: Committed to maintaining
accurate, traceable inventory records Pay Rate: $21.50-24.00/hr
