The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients navigate divorce, custody, support, and other family law matters, while contributing to a collaborative and ethical environment. Strong business development and client-management skills are highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of family law cases: divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and related matters Draft, file, and respond to petitions, motions, declarations, and other legal documents Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff as the practice grows Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent, high-quality client service Stay current on California family law, legal developments, and best practices Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership in good standing Minimum 2–5 years of family law experience preferred Strong client-focused communication and advocacy skills Excellent organization, case management, and interpersonal skills Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary: $140,000–$200,000 DOE, plus performance-based bonus Medical insurance 401(k) plan Paid vacation and sick days Professional development budget Collaborative, values-driven work environment Why Join Us: At Jos Family Law, you will gain meaningful courtroom and case experience, mentor staff, and work in a culture that prioritizes ethical advocacy, teamwork, and positive client outcomes.
