Job Summary:
- The Sr. IT Consultant is a vital role in the Utility Systems
organization. Solution designers evaluate change requests and
perform impact analyses related to integration with multiple
systems. This role also acts as a technical liaison for large IT
projects to elicit technical requirements and provide solution
designs. Additionally, the Sr. IT Consultant assesses potential
future clients and projects, providing ROMs and LOEs.
- As KP increases its investment in the Microsoft Dynamics Online
platform, a seasoned Sr. IT Consultant is needed to assist in
migrating legacy applications and designing new applications on a
SaaS platform. Responsibilities include:
- Developing requirements or leading a team of IT consultants in
creating requirements for complex or specialized processes or
systems that span multiple business domains, partnering with
stakeholders and IT teams (e.g., Solutions Delivery,
Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture).
- Evaluating third-party vendors as directed.
- Recommending and advocating for additional data and services
needed to address key business issues related to process or
solutions design.
- Influencing solution design by providing insights and
consultation during design sessions with IT teams to translate
requirements into workable business solutions.
- Providing insights and influence to senior management and
business leaders on integrating requirements with current systems
and business processes across the enterprise.
- Core responsibility is to provide technical solutions and
guidance for applications on the Microsoft Dynamics platform (both
on-premises and cloud).
- Health Plan Technology Services (HPTS) manages applications and
systems supporting KP's Health Plan functions, including member
website, billing, enrollment, claims processing, and call center
services.
- HPTS Member Communications, Claims & HP Interoperability
(MCCHPI) handles large programs supporting KP's claims and contact
center operations, as well as enterprise health plan data
warehouses, ensuring compliance with regulatory organizations.
- The Case Management, Workflow Automation, and Optimization Team
develops and maintains Microsoft Dynamics-based applications,
including KP's enterprise applications for complaints, grievances,
appeals, and compliance, audit, marketing, and communications for
Medicare.Minimum Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of experience in software or system
testing across multiple IT environments.
- At least one (1) year of software or application development
experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,
CIS, or a related field, plus a minimum of eight (8) years of
experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.Additional
