Job Description:

will oversee the culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food
quality that meets both company and regulatory standards. You will
play a crucial role in menu development, staff management, and
coordinating with vendors while maintaining a focus on
sustainability and customer satisfaction. This position requires a
passion for culinary arts combined with strong leadership and
organizational skills to enhance dining experiences in a university
setting. Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations.
Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to the
university’s diverse population while managing food cost and waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Train,
supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff performance. Collaborate with
supply chain teams to select high-quality vendors and ingredients.
Regularly assess customer feedback to refine food offerings and
service. Manage budgeting and forecasting for kitchen operations,
maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. Proven culinary and
management expertise. Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
Ability to comply with sanitation, health, and safety standards.
Skill in menu planning and understanding of diverse culinary trends
and dietary needs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certification
preferred. Professional culinary certifications (e.g., Certified
Executive Chef) are advantageous.
