You can do all this and more at UCLA Health. /n Reporting to the Pharmacy supervisor Ambulatory Pharmacy, you will perform various pharmacist functions pertaining to ambulatory pharmacy. Some of these functions include: /n /n - Supporting the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations /n - Overseeing support staff /n - Performing medication dispensing activities and clinical pharmacy program optimization to deliver outstanding patient care /n - Cultivating and modeling a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff /n - Demonstrating effective, innovative problem-solving /n - Adapting to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment /n - Advancing a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment /n /n Schedule: varied shifts and hours, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays /n Hourly Salary Range: $91.06 - $106.67 /n Bargaining Unit: HX - UPTE /n Qualifications /n We’re seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and: /n /n /n - Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills /n - Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory, specialty, transitions of care and dispensing workflows /n - CSP or equivalent board certification preferred /n - Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is desirable /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association /n - Certification for Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery with Applied Practice /n /n /n Named one of the top hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, UCLA Health features four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary/specialty care practices and urgent care centers throughout Southern California as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
