The RN Clinical Educator educates staff to competence according to standards, regulations, and best practice using a variety of teaching methods. Facilitates achievement of staff role clarity, professional role confidence, and proficiency. Operates as a change agent in the practice and learning environment.   Required ExperienceRequired:
  • Current California RN License
  • BSN Degree required
  • CNOR preferred
  • Evidence of continuing education and self-development
  • Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Operating Room experience
  • Demonstrated teaching ability in formal and informal setting
  • Current ACLS certification
  • ACLS Instructor preferred - - - - - -Preferred:
    • Specialty certification preferred (e.g. CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, CNE or CCRN)
    • S.N. Degree preferred
