Job Description:

The -Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care including assessments, care plan, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. Performs patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinates the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines. Required Skills - PACU:

• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational/time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply the nursing process to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Must have successfully completed a basic EKG course or have evidence of proficiency through testing. -
  Required Experience - PACU:
  • Current California RN license.
  • Evidence of continuing education.
  • Current BCLS card, ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Demonstrates expertise in direct patient care pre/post operative nursing.
  • Critical care/ER experience and/or have demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation.
  • Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education in critical care. -
