Education and/or Experience
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United
States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at

- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines
U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (ie "Green
Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years' Engineering experience in manufacturing
environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is in Mechanical
Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, from an accredited
institution
- Experience with precision machined metal parts
- Experience with forming/forging manufacturing
- Experience with product and process failure analysis
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and manufacturing
techniques such as lean manufacturing, JIT, SPC, TQM, etc.
- Experience in the fastener manufacturing industry
- Experience with ERP systems
- Minimum of 3 years of Engineering experience in the aerospace
or automotive industry Benefits/Salary:
The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive

vacation. The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $95,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
- Provides engineering support and leads problem
solving/troubleshooting events.
- Able to implements timely solutions to maintain the continuity
of production flow.
- Designs manufacturing methods and processes within schedule and
budgetary parameters.
- Responsible for maintenance of material specifications, product
drawings, routing sheets and manufacturing procedures.
- Design, review and problem solving through the shop floor
interactions (GEMBA activity) to debug manufacturing processes and
tooling (e.g. headers, rollers, processing, laboratory testing,
etc.)
- Run reports as required regarding product non - conformance and
manufacturing variances; use reports to drive and implement
corrective action (s)
- Continuous improvement of tooling and manufacturing methods and
processes
- Lead cost analysis and cost reduction initiative(s)
- Work hand-in-hand with operation/manufacturing and production
technicians to enhance manufacturing processes and troubleshoot
issues .
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
- Determine root cause of persistent problems and lead
implementation of corrective actions and fixes.
- Propose and justify the necessity of new manufacturing
method(s) and production equipment (able to propose and manage
solutions through C-RFA and CAPEX projects)
- Create and drive project plans to completion, PCD (product and
process qualifications, new product development, new process
development/improvement)
- Support Quality System Improvement.
- Interfaces with other departments to address and resolve
engineering issues.
- Interfaces with vendors and outside sales personnel to evaluate
the product/process implementation and provide product/process cost
estimate
- Support product management in the event of product application
problems in the customer structure. (able to provide new product
estimate, product cost review, product feasibility, and technical
support e.g. FAA, PMA)
- Disposition NCRs, perform deep dives as required (RCCA, and
implement solutions to avoid reoccurrence)
- Create manufacturing routing, work instructions, product and
process specifications, including but not limited to: new product
development, process implementation and process/product
development.
- Support employee training as required
- Own and/or support standard and product/process specifications
(document control configuration management)
- Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory
instructions.
- Other tasks as assigned
