The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a
Mid-Level Structures Design Engineer located in El Segundo, CA. The
selected candidate will be responsible for developing
structure/payload system and component design. - Competencies

Create documentation of structural, payload and bus
tooling/equipment system integration based on design requirements
to facilitate/increase productivity throughout the lifecycle of the

analysis to support trade studies, develop structural technology,
testing requirements, materials, processes, and tools, define

Assist in supporting proposal preparation and new business
development efforts in order to grow the business. Tasks include:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry.
3+ years of experience developing 3D CAD models and/or
3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or
cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project
plans and schedules.
3+ years of experience working within a fast-paced team
environment, which required strong communication skills to
frequently interact with Leadership or internal and external
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with ProE/CREO or Windchill
3+ years of experience in the creation and interpretation of an
optimum Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
3+ years of experience with Platform Structures or Subsystems
design, integration and/or analysis experience.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
