Job Description Pridestaff is currently seeking a Office Admin for a manufacturing company located in Whittier, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered. Pay Rate: $18 - $19 (depending on experience level) Shift: Monday --- Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm (ability to work overtime when needed) POSITION SUMMARY: The Office Administrative Assistant supports the department staff with day-to-day operations and special projects, providing clerical assistance, maintaining records and additional administrative services as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists Customer Service Department with administrative tasks such as order entry, proofing, order maintenance. Organizes and maintains file system, and appropriately files orders and other records. Performs data entry with understanding of confidential information. Prepares various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position. Assists staff with special projects as needed. Reads and answers correspondence. Additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High School Diploma, 1yr of previous administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting Willing to submit to a drug test and background check once hired.
